How do I Get Free Solar?

Can you get free solar for your home? Probably not, but you can get customer owned solar installed for zero upfront costs. Solar component costs have drastically decreased in the last 10 years, as well as install labor costs. Banks are much more comfortable writing loans for solar, with low interest rates, and zero down payments.

But I Want Something for FREE!

The Federal Government has The Incentive Tax Credit (ITC) program. It gives solar owners 26% of their solar install costs back as a tax return to cash out, or use towards the principal of your solar loan. So, if a solar install costs $30,000 for example, the home owner will receive $7,800 in tax credit. That is a decent chunk of money!Use the money to pay down your solar loan, or buy a boat.
